Basic Grey Meets MFT!

Wow I have had the picture of this card in my head since I bought the Basic Grey rub-ons.....this was such a fun and easy card to make.....apply the rub-ons, stamp the glass twice, color both glasses, cut one out, layer it onto the other, use some nestabilities...glue together and voila a nice bright card.....lol....

I so need a girls night out, I am thinking of getting a group of women together to have a night out...something fun and exciting.....oh what should be do....lol...

I spent almost all day yesterday sitting her at my desk creating cards to post on my BLOG, I am such a bad blogger, but yet each and everyday I spend hours looking and drooling over other peoples BLOGS.....so I am ready for about another week of BLOGGING, hopefully this weekend I will have the opportunity to sit here for another few hours and get more cards and projects completed....

It is back to work for me today, after having a three day weekend here in Canada....I thoroughly enjoyed my time off....did some shopping, some cleaning, some stamping and had some alone time as well, just a nice balanced mini vacation......

Products used for the card:Stamps - MFT Girls Night Out

Paper - MFT, Basic Grey Lime Rickey and Stampin' Up

Ink - Black Memento

Other things include - Basic Grey Lime Rickey rub-ons, Spica Clear Pen

Hope you enjoyed the card today!

Back Again! Card to Share

Good Day to all that find their way to my BLOG...it is a holiday here is Canada today, so that means a day all to myself to stamp.....

This card is one that I have made for a swap that I am in....the only sad thing about this card, is that you can not tell that is has a very light green paper on it....so pretty in real life....I could not capture the color, no matter what I tried to do....

Also there is absolutely no stamping on this card....I was busy cleaning and organizing my stamping area and came across these wonderful rub-ons from Stampin' Up that I have had forever.....so I decided to finally put them to use.....the card is very pretty to see in real life......

Products that I used are as follows"

Rub-ons - Stampin" Up
Papers - Light Green from Basic Grey, the white and black are from Stampin' Up
Punch - Martha Stewart

I am loving all the new products that I have purchased over the past few months...and have been busy making cards with them all....I think I am good to go for posting on the Blog for another week.....

STuff A Little Late!

Okay awhile back I talked about posting some pictures with stuff in it....well I finally got it done and today is the day to post the stuff...part of this post is for accountability purposes for me......I do not need any more stuff and yet I continue to buy and hoard it....first picture is of the one small area of one wall of my crafting area......

These shelves are about four feet long each....aand they hold some ribbon(the ones that I have actually rolled on doll pins, prima flowers, baubles and other small things....now tell me do I need any more ribbon, any more flowers, and any more embelli.....NO....yet I continue to buy them and hoard them......so this is my plea.....do not sell me anymore ribbon.....no more primas and no more baubles......

Oh wait just one more package of Prima's please...I need a red one to match some card I am making...............

A Bright Birthday Wish!

Good Morning!

Well day three and I have another post for you...I just love this new designer paper from Stampin' Up it goes so nice with the stamp set Cheep Talk, that they have...I ordered the stamp set on my last order and it has not arrived yet....but I belong to a group on Yahoo and we send birthday cards to the members that have birthdays each month....I had an idea for this card...but alas no stamp set, so I used a different one.....not sure that I like the flowers in the corner....but it works for this months card....the saying is from a SU set also, it is one of the Salebration Sets, it is a promo that SU does each year, i believe that the promo is done today though.....the card is very straight forward to make...I will probably remake this card using the Cheep Talk Set once it arrives.

Well it is Monday morning and still no real sign of spring around our neck of the woods...it is actually kinda depressing....I want to start seeing some greens of the grass starting to peak through.....two weeks and it will be Easter and I would love to be able to hid some goodies around the yard for the grandbabies....oh well we will see what happens...

Card Stuff:

All products are from Stampin' Up....

A Bunny, Reading and Friends!

Good Morning!

I hope your morning is going well....mine did not start as early as it did yesterday!....I was looking at yesterdays Blog post and was horrified to see that my card looked so washed out.....the actual colors of the card stock used were white, desert sand black and grey....you can not tell that by looking at this picture.....YIKES

I have talk to Cowboy about a new camera...we are going to price them out today...then we can decided.....

So today's card is for a friend of mine that I had sorta lost contact with over the past 6 months or so....it will be going in the mail tomorrow as soon as I can find the darn address...

It is a fairly straight forward card...started with a 5x5 card base, the patterned paper and the stamp set is from MFT, www.mftstamps.com , I love this bunny he is from the Flopsey line, I do not know why I always refer to the set as a he....but I do....the patterned paper is from on of the digital downloads that are available on this website.....I stamps the bunny on the original white centre and then stamped him again on a scrap piece of white, cut him out and used a pop dot to layer the second one over the first bunny, this gives the bunny dimension...(You can not see it on the card posting though).....for embellishments I used some Prima Flowers that I got from ...www.stampingreatdeals.com , and the silver centre piece and brad I got from www.cdstamps.com , see I have been spreading my stamping allowance everywhere....lol...and the black and white cardstock is from Stampin' Up......the inside of the card is also finished I layered white card stock inside and used some of the patterned paper and punched the edge with Martha Stewart's Doily punch and the saying inside is the completion of the front...."And they livid happily ever after".....pretty easy card to complete...but the little touches of red, gave it the punch that it needed....

Well I am off to do something around the house.....

I'm Back - Cards to Share

Good Morning!

I did not want to start back on my BLOG until I was sure that I had enough cards made to keep up with posting on here....The weather will just not give up, it still wants to be Winter here...did anyone not tell the powers that be that it is spring here.....lol...I am sitting at my window in my craft room and wondering when all of this snow is going to melt and where is all the run off going to go.......

For todays cards I combined a couple of ideas, the KISS (keep it simple, silly) and I needed an Easter card for a one-on-one swap that I am in...so this was my final product. It took me longer to come up with an idea then to actually make the card.....The stamp set is one that I got last fall from Gina K Designs, I believe that it was released a year ago....I had so many ideas for this set, and yet here it is 6 months later and I am finally getting around to using it.....hmmmmmm.....all paper that I used was from Stampin' Up and the little dots in the corners are Black Pearls made by Kaiser Craft...pretty simple card and looks elegent...so hard for me to capture the true card with my camera...speaking of which I think I know why my pictures do not look good, my camera is a couple years old and the Pixels are not very high......so now I am out to convince the Cowboy that we "need" a new camera....lets see how long that takes......

Well that is my post for today...hope you enjoy!
